Buying a company
There can be a lot of reasons for making an acquisition. Companies with a dynamic management and good revenue- and capital conditions can often strengthen an organic development by purchasing competitive companies or companies with complementary products and/or services.
The purpose can also be a wish to strengthen distribution or enter a new export market. To acquire a company, which has not been put for sale yet, require extensive preparation and the key to success is to let buyer as well as seller know that 100% discretion goes without saying. European Partners can act as an accelerator to ensure a positive dialogue and a good result.
In cooperation with the client European Partners prepare a profile of the
ideal company to purchase. By means of internal and external databases and
the clients' 'know how' of the market, potential companies are identified,
after which European Partners work out a thorough external analysis of the
chosen subjects, including accounts, market, products and management, in
order to enable the client to get qualified knowledge of the chosen subjects
and a realistic price level for the purchase.
Next step is a discreet, but directly approach to the owners of the potential subjects. Once the dialogue has started, and there is positive interest on both sides, it is up to European Partners to finish the deal to everybody's satisfaction. |
